Team Spirit

Relief prints and installations reflecting sports, camaraderie, and intimacy.

Debuted at the Duluth Art Institute in 2016, Team Spirit blends athletic iconography with emotional intimacy. Relief prints like Ice Knot, Grapevine, Climbing Holds, and Climbing Wall intertwine competitive imagery and relational motifs. In one installation, Robb even distilled leather from 120 baseball gloves to capture the scent of sport, and overlaid hockey rubber floor shower scenes, melding physical play with communal vulnerability. The exhibition weaves together camaraderie, memory, and bodily interaction.
